MBC is committed to the health and well-being of our community and congregants. In order to maximize our building capacity while adhering to CDC suggested guidelines for houses of worship, we have come up with various protocols so as to assure our congregation can meet safely. As restrictions continue to lift, we will remove some of these protocols as appropriate.
Currently, we are holding in-person services for Sunday 10:30 am & Wednesday 7:30pm. Our Sunday 9:30 am Bible Class is temporarily on hold and our Sunday 6:30 pm services are currently online only. As time progresses & the situation changes, we'll evaluate this service schedule to determine best course of action with the goal of returning all services back to being in-person as soon as possible. All services can be streamed online via Facebook Live, Sermon Audio & YouTube.
Attendance at Services
Due to concerns regarding the spread of COVID-19, we are suggesting that those who are considered high risk would continue to Live stream our services in lieu of attending church in person.
Those who are experiencing any symptoms of sickness are asked not to attend church services until all symptoms are gone regardless of a person's age.
For people who would like to attend services, but would rather do so from the parking lot, you can stream online via a smartphone. Wifi is available upon request.
MBC has suspended all nursery and children's ministries for the time being.
Our church auditorium has limited seating due to the chairs being spaced so as to adhere to social distancing guidelines. We are asking that all people within a given household (families, roommates) to sit together. We ask that each household unit (family, roommates or individuals) would allow 2 chair spaces between each other. We ask that each household unit to be flexible to maximize our seating options.
We are recommending that those attending our in-person services who are 2 years of age or older wear facemasks while inside the building, unless medically unable to or performing a speaking/singing role in our services. Hand Sanitizer is available in various spots within the building.
We are asking that all fellowshipping before/after services would be held outside the building with social distancing guidelines being followed.
Our building will be cleaned and sanitized after each in person service.
Since we will not be taking up offerings by passing a plate, we have the following options for those who desire to give their tithes/offerings:
-Online giving will remain available indefinitely per my regular announcements
-Offerings can be mailed to the church.
-We'll have a locked box at the back of the sanctuary people can drop off their offerings.
Thank you for your patience and prayers as we face a very unprecedented time in world history. We are striving to navigate it to the best of our ability. We ask people to please be understanding and considerate of each other as we strive to do our best to adhere to these protocols. Our desire is to help each person having a meaningful time of worship while being mindful of the challenges we all face at this time.
